What isn't
We'd rather tell you now than surprise you later. Where any of these apply to your deck, we'll point them out before we start.
- Water coming through the house wall
- Porous brick or stone, or missing house flashing we weren't hired to fix. We'll point these out before we start.
- Posts that pass through the deck surface
- Railing and support posts can let the odd drip through where a perfect seal isn't possible. We'll show you where before we start.
- Clogs from leaves, needles or seed pods
- Clearing the downspout is routine upkeep. We'll show you how at the walkthrough.
- Damage from impact or changes by others
- Things like ladders against the gutter, new holes for fixtures, or a deck rebuild after we install.
- Ice dams from heat sources
- Heaters or vents that melt snow on the deck above can refreeze at the gutter.
